We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguards to join the team on a part time basis. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

You must be a current PLPC, competency to swim 200m in under 6 minutes and First Aid holder. You must be available to work weekends and be available on call if required especially during the centre's peak periods.

Skills & Attributes:
Excellent verbal communication skills
An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
National Police Check
Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded

This role is really team focussed which means that you will always be guided and mentored in your day-to-day activities.It is full-time with Saturdays on rotation (after a period of training) and is ideal for someone who is interested in farm machinery, is enthusiastic and willing to learn and looking to gain invaluable experience that will carry you through your career. The right attitude is everything! There is the opportunity to train as an apprentice and really get yourself started in the agricultural world.

We are looking for people who are:

* Mechanically minded with (ideally) some exposure to/understanding of farm machinery | Someone who is mad about machinery and loves to tinker!
* Computer literate and willing to learn new systems (full-training is part of the role)
* Experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous, but high levels of communication skills and a genuine desire to interact with people will be great.
* Willing and able to learn new skills and be an important part of a strong, friendly and fun growing team.
