This is a great entry-level role for someone interested in starting in machine operating and progressing within a successful and innovative Hamilton packaging business.
This role is a mix of hands-on machine operating (setting up extrusion lines, doing job changes, solving problems) and quality control. It is a physical role, which will require you to lift 25kg bags of raw materials, so you’ll need to be reasonably fit. All training will be given on the job.
Afternoon shift (2pm-10pm) and night shift (10pm to 6am) roles available.
What our employer is looking for most is people who are keen to learn, with a good work ethic – you will need to be reliable. (You may even eventually reach management level at this business if you have what it takes – the employing manager started off in this role himself and has just being promoted to Department Manager!)
